The Spirits of Evok

Evok is comprised of a number of spirits that inhabit our office, and this holiday season we deemed it necessary to interview each evok spirit on their spirit of choice. In doing so, we uncovered their industry tip of the season.

Mr. Johnnie Walker: Black Label (Director of Client Services/Managing Partner) – Some spirits speak more than others, Mr. Walker allows his presentation to speak for itself. Oftentimes, it’s the seal of a presentation – its custom engraving, the texture of its pages or the vivid colors – that bring a concept home and initiate the wonderful partnership between client and agency.

Mr. Captain Morgan: Original Spiced (Creative Director/Creative Partner) – A mellow spirit enhanced with a variety of fruit flavors, spices and a hint of vanilla, Mr. Morgan believes in intrinsically weaving in details of creative. He does this in such a manner that one is able to savor the unique creative flow brought together by each flavor.

Ms. Mojito (Account Manager) – Loved for its particular texture and taste, this spirit has an eye for detail. Ms. Mojito knows it’s the process of grinding the ingredients and then blending them together, that makes each complex marketing piece a balanced concoction served to the utmost perfection.

Mr. Cabernet Sauvignon (Copywriter) – This spirit is lined with intrigue and encourages probing concepts for holes, so that when one lays down the foundation, it is rich with support and ready to branch out into a full-bodied campaign.

Mr. Coors Light (Art Director) – Known for gaining a fresh perspective prior to working on any project, this spirit enjoys taking direction from nature’s very own elements. His work can be defined as strong, refreshing and effective.

Ms. Red & White Wine (Interactive Director) – This spirit knows the difference between the various venues in the interactive world and can quickly determine which one is the right fit for a client. Similar to knowing which meat complements each wine, this spirit is quick to assess and sail through the challenges ahead.

Ms. Dirty Martini (Public Relations Manager) – With a playful, but sophisticated air about her, she is keen on dressing a company image to look its best. Ms. Dirty Martini believes it’s vital to understand that people’s perceptions are ultimately their reality, and so she spends time explaining this principle to her clients and works with the media to make sure those clients are perceived accordingly.

Ms. Pisco Sour (Account Coordinator) – This spirit has a bit of a bite to her and delves into competitive research when assigned a new project or client. She believes in using history in order not to repeat mistakes of the past and stays on top of industry trends for clients so that everything runs smoothly.

Ms. Chardonnay (Senior Account Manager) – This spirit has a distinct aroma that is both delicate and contagious. Knowing how to work a room is among her specialties and making a client feel at ease is her priority.

Ms. Ice Pick (Creative Services Manager) – Bittersweet and refreshing all at once, she zones in on the heart of the matter and pulls resources to bring a project to completion. Her signature is a seamless project.

So tell me, what do your employees’ spirits say about their spirit?
