The response, as well as the level of creativity, to Careereoki was overwhelming as can be seen by the sampling of contestant videos below. Contestants could record their videos two different ways—either on their own and upload to the media sponsor website via YouTube or attend one of the live remotes or job fairs and be videotaped by the sponsors.
The Orlando results are still being tallied, but the contestants ranged in age from 16 to 65 and were seeking careers from cosmetology to computers and construction to culinary arts and architecture to nursing and veterinary assistants to any number of vocational trades.
