Metra Electronics is an international prime source manufacturer of mobile electronics accessories sold under several brand names within the Metra family. Because making an impact at the industry’s premier trade shows – such as SEMA and International CES – is imperative, Metra depended upon EVOK Advertising to create a trade show booth that would give the company the major presence it required and reinforce its branding while staying within budget requirements.

EVOK Advertising maximized Metra’s budget by purchasing an existing double-decker booth from a leading exhibit booth manufacturer, and completely refurbishing it to achieve a high-tech look that emphasizes the brand identity of Metra. Changing the face, lighting and surface materials of the booth resulted in a sleek, custom-built look.
EVOK Advertising’s experience in trade show booth design and trade show logistics allowed us to create a total branding environment that provided optimum traffic flow within the booth, and attention-getting yet functional custom-designed exhibit towers, shelving and wall displays. All new elements were designed to maximize aesthetics and ease packing.
New booth elements and fixtures were seamlessly integrated into the fresh look of the main structure. The booth’s floor level features automobiles with state-of-the-art audio installations, displays and product showcases; the top level provides four meeting rooms and allows it to literally rise above the booths of competitors. EVOK Advertising also designed compelling booth graphics throughout.
In addition to booth and fixture design, EVOK Advertising managed Metra’s booth – a job that included coordinating the booth, fixtures, product and collateral materials shipment; ensuring all shipments arrived at the exhibition venue; directing booth construction (as well as some supplementary construction); making sure that the press room was stocked with media kits; and booth teardown at the end of the show.
Result
Even with the design and building of additional displays, refurbishing the existing booth provided the client with the desired floor presence and meeting space while staying within budget. Reinforcing brand identity through booth design allows Metra’s booth to deliver a consistent message that also serves as an effective backdrop when show vehicles are photographed for publication in national mobile electronics trade and consumer magazines.
EVOK Advertising’s involvement through all phases of the show has allowed Metra staff the time and opportunity to focus more attention on meetings and writing orders with existing and potential vendors, dealers, distributors and retailers.
