Color is a powerful thing. It can raise your blood pressure, change your emotions and suppress your appetite. It can also make an amazing ad campaign. Evok advertising used color as the basis for a branding assignment from the Halifax Health Medical System. Evok’s solution was to give all departments and disciplines their own colors. This idea was then extended through every piece of collateral, signage, and advertising, and even to specific walls in a particular building. The colorful solution succeeded in making Halifax truly stand out in a world of white-coated medical sameness.
