OPPORTUNITY:
Experience day-to-day life inside of one of Central Florida’s largest advertising agencies! Working directly with the CEO and Business Development Coordinator, you’ll gain valuable insight into the new business process and learn how to successfully land local, regional, national and international clients. Train on how to identify clients in different industries that “fit” an agency best. Develop and maintain prospect lists using software and research skills. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to new business development activities for the agency as assigned by the CEO and/or New Business Coordinator.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Research important information relating to specific industries that the agency serves
- Maintain a new business prospect database including primary, secondary and general target prospects; record product/market information about each prospect; and regularly update all contact information
- Keep timely contact with prospects through regular emails, mailings, phone calls and appointments
- Coordinate with the business development team to schedule prospecting emails/newsletters, search marketing ads and other
- online tactics
- Follow up on all prospect meetings with letters/agency literature
- Coordinate internally to develop proposals with specific department heads by providing opportunity details in agency system
INTERNSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
- Junior or senior standing
- 12 hours per week commitment, at a minimum
- Positive attitude with a commitment to teamwork
- Skilled writer, editor & exceptional personal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Contribute to social media activities for the agency and its clients, as assigned by the Social Media Manager and/or social team.

- Research and prepare content for Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.
- Develop editorial calendars for content strategy plans
- Produce reports using evok tracking tools

- Advertising, Marketing, PR and Communication majors preferred
- Junior or senior standing
- 12 hours per week commitment, at a minimum
- Passion for social media and digital innovation with eagerness to learn a must
- Positive attitude with a commitment to success
- Detail oriented and effective time management skills
- Quick learner with exceptional research capabilities
- Ability to stay on task and on schedule to meet deadlines
