As the second largest university in the United States, the University of Central Florida’s over 52,000 students come from all 50 states and 148 countries.

With a history of partnering with our evok team across the institution’s departments, UCF athletics contacted us two weeks prior to a big game at the Florida Citrus Bowl. They needed a fast acting strategy to attract 40,000 UCF fans to the stadium, showing off Knight Pride in all its glory.

Our efforts included a grassroots public relations program centered around our “Fill the Bowl” campaign, which incorporated stickers, bandit signs, t-shirts and banners strategically dispersed throughout Orlando and all media outlets.

Events, contests and pep rallies were organized to fuel our guerilla marketing efforts and get the Central Florida community talking about the upcoming UCF game.

Results

Even on an impossibly short timeline, our team was able to attract 50,220 football fans to the home game, smashing our objectives of 40,000 game goers by 25 percent.
